We are inviting applications for a position within our security team, whose role is to provide a professional, pro-active, and responsive security service for the protection of client sites (Various sites) through regular internal/ external patrols of all areas, bag and physical searches, dedicated CCTV surveillance (if CCTV licensed) and many other roles.

The role also considers responses to incidents/events, suspicious packages, bomb threats and emergency evacuations as well as operation/monitoring of fire and intruder alarm systems, fire watches and door access control.

Experience of providing security or similar customer orientated environment is essential. Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent customer care, communication, and IT skills.

Duties include (but not limited to):

• Controlling & monitoring who comes on site
• Bag searches/ physical and vehicle searches
• Ensure staff, property & other assets are secure
• Maintain a safe & secure environment by ensuring Health & Safety policies are adhered to Monitoring CCTV (if licensed)
• Dealing with student issues in a professional manner
Incident & event responding & reporting
• Customer Service
• Patrolling internal & external locations
• Mobile patrolling (vehicle)

Skills & Experience:

• SIA Door Supervisors License (Essential)
• First aid qualification (Essential)
• 5 years history to be able to be evidenced, any gaps in employments must also be justified.
• Previous experience in similar environment is ideal
• Great time keeping and honesty.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Take pride in being honest, punctual, well-groomed and having a smart appearance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience in incident reporting.
• Excellent customer service skills and presentable appearance at all times.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Other certifications and qualifications are considered advantageous.
